Platform China Contemporary Art Institute (Beijing) presents the group show: "Early - Wang Xingwei, Wang Yin, Zhang Enli, Zhao Gang, Zhou Tiehai" on April 26, 2014. The exhibition features a number of typical and representative early works by the five artists, presented in an orderly fashion, and includes some of their relevant literature. 

“The Early stage here is more like a preface of a book, which is the part that comes at the beginning in the reading order, but, in most cases, it is actually the last part on the writing term. In this sense, the “Early” we are about to talk about is more like the newest production made here and now.   

Consequently, when we retrace their early works of the following artists: Zhao Gang, Wang Yin, Zhang Enli, Zhou Tiehai, Wang Xingwei, all of whom were born in 1960s one after the other, we actually make them out what their current artistic style, concepts and methods are.”
