In 2015, Lao Jiahui explored original differences and esthetic overlaps between digital bionic and realistic aesthetic, hence established his field of work, generalized a specific character at this point, is the birth of a virtual art subject “LODTALAD”.

Artist LODTALAD, entered a hypothetical scene that fulfilled with occasional creations, to dig up an imaginary territory that stem from autologous logic. He revealed things through painting mediums, stripped down to fundamental elements, formed an unknown world that he currently faced to. They were like debris from Big Bang and existed in absolute void, alienated from any picture background, only the most basic and purest form of painting reminded. Within artist LODTALAD’s painting, figure and item appear independently on blank scene, we can easily see obvious differences of them from natural objects. LODTALAD created series of core painting factors that could evolve sustainably, shaped brand new visual modeling awareness. Instead of any situation or narrative, but proceed to reversed direction, stepped back to fundamental elements. We can regard this as an experimental language, when the basic rules were being separately focused and being exaggerated, they became the recognition itself. As a Meta-language, structured by series of Meta-images, using Minimal Art techniques to relate with complex aesthetic problems. They are basics that artists put forth efforts on, and the premise to drive the sequence deduction.

Facing works of LODTALAD, we observe more than the birth of a virtual character itself, something more important above the virtual world, is the birth of a readable aesthetic system.
